  • Freddy Arturo Ginebra is...

A Creative Director, Film Producer, and Music Supervisor based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

He is Creative Director of Cumbre.do — one of the Dominican Republic's leading advertising agencies, founded by his father Freddy Danilo Ginebra in 1984. Forty years of Human Storycrafting, now entering its next era alongside his brother José Ginebra.

As a film producer he develops drama and documentary films rooted in Caribbean stories and environmental truth. Current productions include Arrecifes en el Precipicio — a documentary about the fight to save Caribbean coral reefs — and Isla Bonita, directed by Dominican-Italian filmmaker Manuel Vitali. He serves as Executive Producer on the drama A veces Grito, currently in post-production.

Through VoicetheVision.Studio he works as Music Supervisor, Composer, and Sound Designer — complete post-production audio from the first creative decision to final mix delivery. Credits include Carpinteros (Sundance 2017), Colson: Renacer o Morir, A veces Grito, Caminar con un Duende, El Diablo No Duerme en Su Cama, and Buena (dir. Kevin Kittle, US).

Since 2009 he has organized TEDxSantoDomingo — over 15 years of bringing the world's most powerful ideas to Dominican audiences.

He is accompanying his father in the creative overhaul of Casa de Teatro — the cultural institution founded in Santo Domingo's Colonial Zone in 1974. Recognized by France and Spain. Honored by the Dominican Ministry of Culture at its 50th anniversary. Fifty years of launching musicians, actors, painters, poets, and filmmakers who had nowhere else to go.
